Trim the Wick: Before every burn, trim the wick to 1/4 inch to ensure a clean and even burn, minimize soot, and prolong the candle's life.
First Burn: Let the wax melt to the edges of the tin during the first use to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn.
Burn Time: Limit each burn session to no more than 4 hours to prevent overheating and maintain candle quality.
Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve their fragrance and appearance.
Stable Surface: Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects.
Hot Tin Warning: The tin container may become hot during use. Handle with care, and avoid touching the tin while the candle is burning or immediately after extinguishing.
Cool Before Moving: Allow the candle to cool completely before moving or handling it to prevent burns or spills.
No Water: Never pour water into a burning candle, as this can cause wax to splatter.
Avoid Drafts: Keep candles away from drafts, vents, or open windows to ensure even burning and minimize soot.
Supervision Required: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Reliable Delivery: At Set Forth NY, we prioritize prompt and secure delivery of your candles. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, with standard shipping taking 3–8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking email to monitor its journey.
Free Shipping Over $75: Enjoy free standard shipping on all U.S. orders over $75. For smaller orders, affordable shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your package's size, weight, and destination.
Customer Responsibility: To ensure smooth delivery, please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Set Forth NY is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses or packages stolen after delivery. If a package is returned to us, the customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.
Lost or Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us at hello@setforthny.com with your order details and photos (if applicable). We’ll work to resolve the issue quickly.

There is no question that there is love, kindness and care put into every candle. They are something special - and I don't say that lightly. The scent is a-ma-zing - fragrant without being cloying and very 'clean' (none of that weird, unidentifiable scent you get with some candles). I'll be buying more and giving them as gifts to all my friends. The paper insert that comes with it has seeds embedded in it - I'm looking forward to seeing what grows from them.
